David Archuleta just broke my heart.

Actually the money sucking head honchos at American Idol broke my heart. Little Archie was going to do a $1 concert/q&a type event at the E center on friday before he heads back to L.A. to start rehearsals for the tour and although there was a verbal agreement that it was ok.. apparently today they changed their minds and said no, he is not allowed to make any public appearances in any city until after the AI tour has passed through that city - so they had to cancel it.

I was beyond excited about this, especially since I probably won't be able to go see him on the AI tour this summer.. Why did they have to mess with me like this!?

popcorn poppin' on the apricot tree.

Im trying to decide what i want to plant in my garden. I finally live in a real (well soon to be real..) house with a real yard and conveniently there is already a garden area in the back yard! I've looked online and have learned that utah is actually really great for growing most things, especially tomatoes, beans and squashes. I need to come up with a concrete list of what i want to grow because i need to get my seedlings going! I only have about a month until i should plant when there is no risk of frost n' shit.

Any suggestions?

I should be more ashamed...

that I have been listening to this hannah montana/miley cyrus cd for the past hour.. and liking it.

Its been nice background music while I've resized 200 pictures. While resizing those 200 pictures I found a picture that I took last week of my favorite thrift store find that I have found in quite a while.

I found five of them. They are diagonal handled in the "Old Town" pattern. They are in pristine condition and make my heart happy. I can't wait to move into my new house and finally be able to properly display my collection! I have and old set of shelves my mom gave me, which I currently have most of my pyrex on, (in unattractive stacks because there are to many!) but I want to paint the shelves a pretty red color and then put my favorite pieces on it.

i dont heart huckabee

"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution," Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. "But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that's what we need to do — to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view."

This has got to be the worst thing I've read from a presidential candidate in a while. He must not like that little law about seperating church from state either!
